Q: Have you presented any of your research to the Society, and if you have what was their response?

A:
No, I haven’t forwarded any of my articles to
the Society. For one thing, from what I have heard from those who have done so,
the reception of any material that differs from what they teach has been less
than appreciated. And secondly, I do not feel the need to present my research
to them for approval, as if anyone has the authority to approve or censor what the
Scriptures teach.
Jehovah does not acknowledge any self-appointed governors as representing any of
his chosen ones, but deals with each chosen individual directly through his Son,
as was the case in the first century, such as when he chose the persecutor Saul and turned him into the
zealous apostle Paul, an apostle to the nations. There certainly was not anyone
else that Jehovah had to consult first, such as some governing body. That is
why he holds every chosen anointed servant personally accountable for carrying out the work he has
assigned them.
Should we be surprised that Jehovah uses individuals who are not looked up to by
the majority of his people because of not fitting the profile of what we have
been taught to expect? Our Examining the Scriptures Daily 2006, of
Wednesday, January 11, made the following comment regarding this:
“To whom did 'Jehovah's glory gleam' with the angelic announcement of the good
news of the birth of 'a Savior, who is Christ the Lord'? It was not to the
high-minded religious leaders or to the important people in high places but to
the humble shepherds 'living out of doors and keeping watches in the night over
their flocks.' (Luke 2:8-11) These individuals were not highly esteemed for
their credentials and work. Yet, they were the ones Jehovah took note of and
chose to inform first about the birth of the Messiah. Yes, Jehovah chooses
individuals who may not meet certain human expectations and uses them to
communicate his glorious purpose to others." (Bold mine)
When Jehovah “chooses individuals to communicate his glorious purpose to others”
he deals with them by means of his Son, according to his own purpose. He does
not
go through some "high-minded" governing body. The apostle Paul explains at Philippians 2:13:
"For God is the one that, for the sake of [his] good pleasure, is acting
within YOU in order for YOU both
to will and to act."
Or as the New Living Translation
puts it: "For God is working in you, giving you the desire to obey him
and the power to do what pleases him."
(Eph.
3:20,21) As
the Scriptures remind us so many times, none of Jesus' disciples are above or
below any of the others, for "all you are brothers." (Matt. 23:8) They are all
equal in Jehovah's eyes. (Matt. 18:1-3; Mark 9:33-35)
Therefore, I have not seen any need to present my research
to the Society as if to seek their permission; or perhaps attempt to correct
them. Since I believe Paul's words regarding the "man of lawlessness" to apply
to our governing body, and since their presence is not from Jehovah but
"according to the operation of Satan," I believe that trying to correct them
would prove as futile as wanting to correct Satan. Afterall, Paul writes that
Jehovah "lets an operation of error go to them, that they may get to believing
the lie." Who am I to get in the way of that! They are comparable to the
Sanhedrin, the governing body of the Jews, who opposed Jesus and anyone who
exercised faith in him. Jesus did not bother with them. (2 Thess. 2:3,4, 9-12,
NWT; Matt. 15:14) Does that cause division? Not if it is Jehovah who is "acting
within"
his servants. His spirit, which Jesus promised
to provide as a helper, unites his people. It is only when we refuse to obey him
and fail to yield to
his spirit, teaching our own ideas by going beyond the things written, that we
are in danger of causing division. (John 14:16,17,26; 1 Cor. 4:6)
By the way, I do not advertise my site nor promote it in any way. I have also
requested others not to link to it from other websites or forums, as I feel
that my site will be beneficial and of encouragement only to those who are
"sighing and groaning over all the detestable things that are being done in the
midst of us." (Ezekiel 9:4, 6) Those who love things the way they are within the
organization, and who put their trust in the man of lawlessness, will not find
any encouragement here. I trust that if this has Jehovah's blessing then he will
direct anyone who needs encouragement to this site. I do not desire to stumble
anyone!
